Turtle Fishing

"... I'll skip 'what' and go straight to 'why'."

This was supposed to be a quick concept sketch of the female character (named Lin Pei), but with all that space in the canvas, I couldn't resist turning it into a full illustration. Glad I spent the extra time to do it, as I've been wanting to practice more environment painting. Feel free to give feedback; I'm always open to it, and I love to discuss art!
